Travel that leaves places better
How we look after the communities, cultures and landscapes that host us.
Travel can be one of the strongest forces for peace, understanding and personal growth, if we do it responsibly. Every trip we design aims to support the communities that host us, protect the places we visit and build respect across cultures.
Two ideas guide everything we do
Tourism as a bridge for shared prosperity
A good trip is an honest exchange. We plan with communities, not around them, so the families, guides and small businesses that host you share in the value travel creates.
Harmony through sustainable tourism
We choose partners we can grow with and decisions that hold up over years, not seasons, and we keep group sizes and timing gentle on busy places.

What we promise, mapped to the Future of Tourism principles
We use the Future of Tourism Guiding Principles as our checklist. The tags show which principles each commitment serves.
Stakeholder collaboration
We work with local communities, tourism bureaus and conservation groups, and plan trips with the people who host them.
Community benefit
Local guides, family-run stays and village hosts, so more of what you spend stays where you travel.
Cultural respect and preservation
Real encounters on our hosts' terms, never culture staged for show.
Cultural exchange
Time to talk, cook, make and learn together, so travelers and hosts both come away richer.
Environmental stewardship
Sensible routes, off-peak timing, less plastic and less waste.
Conservation
We support the protected areas and wildlife projects in the places we visit.
Animal welfare
No activities that exploit animals. Read our Animal Welfare Policy, guided by World Animal Protection.
Child safety
We follow The Code's six criteria, train our partners, and never offer orphanage visits or volunteering with children. Read our Child Protection Policy.
Honest about where we are
A journey, not a destination
We are a member of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council, but we are not yet certified, and our whole supply chain isn't fully aligned yet. Certification and lower carbon travel are goals we're working toward, one step at a time.
Lifting as we climb
Our guides train other guides, our partners adopt higher standards, and we try to raise demand for responsible travel across the industry.
The hard, right path
Community-led experiences take longer to build than off-the-shelf tours. We think they're worth it, for our hosts and for you.
Better travel takes more than one company
Whether you're a traveler, a tour operator, a travel advisor or an organization that believes tourism can be a force for good, we'd love to hear from you.
